FIDM Faculty About
Since January 1999, the museum's operations have been separate from the Library in order to offer more specialized care and attention to the specific needs of a costume collection, and museum-trained personnel have been added to the staff. Admission to the museum is free and is frequented by fashion design students or those who enjoy textile art. This special board, composed of community leaders, provides oversight for the quality and integrity of the college. Its members ensure that students receive educational programs of high quality, promote the college's unique response to community needs, and enthusiastically support the international goals of the college. FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) is an internationallyrecognized college with 4,200 students and over 70,000 graduates.
